Queenslander deck rebuilt in EkoDeck Alpine Ash
Pine decking that had rotted to the point of being unsafe, replaced in EkoDeck Alpine Ash, with new handrail, balustrade, Merbau stair treads and fresh screening below.
A great way to add value to your home is to update the exterior. It's not only more appealing, it structurally improves the deck area.
The pine decking was replaced because rot and decay had made it structurally unsafe. We replaced it with EkoDeck Alpine Ash. Not only does it look fresher and neater, it leaves the client confident in the quality of a material rated for our harsh weather, which means a longer lasting deck.
We also replaced the handrail and balustrade, which completes the upper structure perfectly. The stair treads were replaced with new Merbau, and the bottom level of this Queenslander had the screening replaced.
