Goodisson Constructions is now Eleven Build Co
Same hands. Same standard. A name that finally fits.
This is our home now.
We started as carpenters. One chippy, a ute, and whatever work the Fraser Coast would give us. For years that was the whole business, and it was an honest one — you turn up, you frame it straight, you go home.
But the jobs kept getting bigger. A deck became a patio, a patio became an extension, an extension became a second dwelling, and eventually people stopped asking us to build part of the house and started asking us to build the house. Somewhere in there we stopped being a carpentry business and became a building company. The name never caught up.
Eleven Build Co is the name catching up. Same family, same licence-holder on site, same phone numbers — with a structure built for the work we actually do now: full builds, major renovations, additional dwellings, and our own range of premium backyard retreats.
Hervey Bay is not where we ended up. It is where we chose to stay, where our kids go to school, and where we will still be when the warranty period is a distant memory. This is our home now, and we build here accordingly.

Where it started, and where the standard still comes from.
“We would rather be the builder you call again in fifteen years than the cheapest quote you got this year.”
The name
Built for Generations
Two meanings, both deliberate: houses that last, and houses that hold more than one generation at once.
It reads two ways, and we mean both.
The first is the obvious one: build it properly and it outlasts you. Flashings that are actually lapped, timber that is actually seasoned, a frame that is square because someone checked. The things you cannot see are the things that decide whether a house is still sound in forty years.
The second is the one shaping most of our work right now. Families are moving back in together — ageing parents, adult kids who cannot get into the market, grandchildren under the same roof. That means dual living, self-contained additions, granny flats that are not an afterthought, and floor plans that give three generations somewhere to be alone. We design for that on purpose, not as a compromise.

How we work
Four things we will not trade away.
Attention to detail
The scribe on the architrave, the set-out of the tile, the fall on the deck. We are carpenters first, and it shows in the joinery long after the paint has been chosen.
Honest communication
If something is going to cost more or take longer, you hear it from us early and in plain words. Nobody enjoys that conversation. Having it late is worse.
Genuine care
You are living through this build. We keep the site clean, we tell you when we are coming, and we treat the house like someone is going to live in it — because someone is.
Natural & recycled timber
We have a real soft spot for it. Recycled hardwood posts, spotted gum decking, blackbutt linings. Timber with a history in it makes a new house feel like it has always been there.
Who you deal with
Two people. Both of them answer the phone.
